First of all I would like to thank you for all your kind words about the stamps I designed for ToutEnColle. I'm so pleased about them and how they turned out and I couldn't wait to use them.
I went with the grey+1 colour combo for these first samples. I love grey (particularly that Koala Fresco Finish paint) as it goes with any colour really
Start by stamping the feather on the tag.
They really stamp beautifully, details are wonderful 😊
Mix PaperArtsy Haystack and Caramel Fresco Finish paints
I decided to go with the grey and ochre combination for this one (one of my fav colour combo).
I now use the mini GelPress as a pallet and absolutely love it.
(Thanks Laety Sia for the tip on your video)
Paint another tag as well as some of the details on the feather with the ochre paint
Cut the white tag slightly smaller than the yellow one
Cut the end of the feathers with an exacto knife (only on one side) and paint the tag with the grey Koala Fresco Finish paint
Mix some PaperArtsy Grunge Paste with the Koala paint and apply to the tag using a stencil
I used ToutenColle crackle stencil
Stamp on the background using grey Archival ink
I used PaperArtsy JM58
Stamp the script using black Archival ink
I used PaperArtsy MN44
Using a cut n' dry sponge, add some Haystack paint on the edges and, once dry, repeat with black Archival ink
Mount the tag onto the yellow one and lift up the cut feathers so that the colour ochre show through
Add some Diamond glitter glue, black and white splatter and the quote
Here's a couple more samples using a different colour with the grey
On this one, I used the little feather and yin/yang from the Plumes Zen plate
And on this one, I also used the border stamp plate on the border on the left as well as around the main image and the little checker board on the background
Thanks for stopping by.
Remember is you purchase those stamps (come on, you know you want to ;)) and post something on Instagram, use the hashtag #isaCStamps so I can see what's you've been up to
