CARD - New Crocus stamp #isaCstamps

Hello,

Pour la version en français, je vous donne rendez-vous sur le blog de Toutencolle.

Another new stamp tonight I designed for Toutencolle again. A simple crocus, yet so versatile as you will see in the blog posts and videos to come in the next couple of weeks.

Here's the step-by-step for the first card. I used that Dusty Blue paper again (Did I mention I really like it? Yes I did? well, I say it again... I really like those papers 😀)

First of all, stamp the crocuses on different pattern papers. This is to get different petals

Then (yup you guessed it), cut out the petals in order to "build up" the flower

On a separate papers, stamp the "Manuscrit fin" and ink up the edges of the papers

Glue de crocuses, and add the petals with 3D foam squares to give some dimension

Here's a different view

My base card (not shown here) is 15x15 cm
Light papers is 14.5 x 14.5 cm
The blue one is 14 x 14 cm
The two little "cards" are from the papers (cut them out, inked the edges)
Matted everything on black paper

Paint the words with white paint.
Several coats are needed to really make it white

Next paint the little watering can in white, then stamp "Nuages de pointillés" using grey Archival Ink
Ink up the edges

I added a little butterfly, and added Glossy Accent to the petals as well as the centre of the butterfly

Of course envelope is stamped too using, Manuscrit Fin, Texture Bulles and the Crocuses
Added a touch of colour with Faber Castell Polychromos

And here you have it

With the envelope

Details of the "Glossied" petals

Details of the "Glossied" butterfly

Little Glossy Accent details added to the watering can too for the "water"

Here you go
Hope you enjoyed
Would love to know what you think
See you soon
😊
